A homepage that looks as sharp as the officers you send out
You've outgrown the look your marketing contractor gave you — heavy, generic, and built without your logo or your own guards' photos. We'll design a homepage that actually reads as a professional security company, built around references you pick, so your own dev team can implement it exactly as designed.
What we heard on our call
- The contractor's redesign missed the mark. It's heavy and dark, the headline is oversized, the copy feels generic, and your testimonials and trust content from the current site didn't carry over.
- It was built without your real assets. The contractor didn't have your original logo files or an actual photo shoot of your guards, so it's running on stock models — you want it to read as your company, not a template.
- You want to go step by step. Home page first, as a standalone deliverable, with the other five pages (Services, Industries, Blog, About, Contact) to follow once you're happy with the direction.
- Design only — your team implements. We hand off a Figma file; the developers your cousin works with (based in India/Pakistan) build it.
- You're still a new company. One site, a couple of guards, and you're just starting to market and sell — the design needs to look more established than that without overstating what you are.
The plan
Before we draw a single pixel, we need your taste, not just our opinion.
You send 2–3 reference sites
Competitors you're up against, or any site whose look you admire — design is subjective, and this gives us your direction instead of guessing at it.
We design the home page around it
Keeping the local, direct-quote messaging that works, rebuilding the visual direction, headline hierarchy and imagery so it reads as Knight Shield.
A first look
A concept to show the direction — cleaner and more premium than the current version, built from what's publicly on your site today (your real license number, phone, and service lineup). Concept only — the actual homepage design will be shaped by the reference sites you send us.
Armed and unarmed officers, executive protection and traffic control, trusted across South Florida's busiest sites.
Armed and unarmed officers, executive protection and traffic control across South Florida.
Desktop and mobile concept — colors, layout and photography will follow the references you send us.
What's included
- Figma source file for the home page, fully laid out — no PDFs or flattened images, so your developers can measure, export and build directly from it.
- Desktop and mobile layouts, both designed, not just one scaled down.
- Two rounds of revisions on the home page design before final handoff.
- A short Loom walkthrough explaining the design decisions, so your developers understand intent, not just pixels.
What we checked before quoting
Your service lineup is clear
Executive Protection, Armed & Unarmed, Plain Clothes and Traffic Control are already defined on your site — we can design around real services, not placeholders.
Your license and phone number are public
License No. B 3200104 and (305) 504-3785 are already on your current site, so the concept above uses your real details, not invented ones.
Original logo & real photography
The contractor's version didn't have your logo files or an actual photo shoot of your guards. We'll need those (or you're fine with us sourcing fitting stock in the meantime) to finish the design properly.
Final page count for Phase 2
You mentioned a lot of industry pages — we're planning one combined Industries page rather than three, which keeps Phase 2 pricing on the lower end of the range. We'll confirm this with you before scoping it.
Milestones and pricing
Reference review & concept direction
We go through the reference sites you send, lock the visual direction, and confirm the content blocks for the home page.
Home page design draft
Full desktop and mobile design in Figma, built on the approved direction, with your real logo/photos where available.
- Up to 2 rounds of revisions included
Final delivery & Figma handoff
Final file shared with your developers, plus a short Loom walkthrough of the design.
Remaining 5 pages
Services, Industries (combined), Blog, About and Contact, designed in the same system once the home page is approved.
Matches what we discussed on the call: $400 for the home page, roughly $1,200–$1,600 for all six pages together. Phase 2 isn't billed or committed to now — we'll firm up the exact number once the page breakdown is confirmed.
After design delivery
This round is design only — no hosting or development on our side, since your own team builds it out.
| Included revisions | 2 rounds, Phase 1 |
| Extra design tweaks | $40/hr, ad hoc |
| Phase 2 — remaining 5 pages | $800–$1,200, when you're ready |
When is it done?
What we need from you
- 2–3 reference websites — competitors or any site whose design you admire
- Your original logo files, if you have them
- Real photos of your guards, if you have them (otherwise we'll source fitting stock for now)
- A quick confirmation that one combined Industries page works for Phase 2, so we can firm up that estimate
- Milestone 1 kicked off on Upwork so we can get started
How we work
- Ali designs it personally. I stay as your point of contact start to finish.
- In-house team, based in Pakistan. Our design and support team works alongside me, all in-house — no third-party subcontracting.
- Pay as it's delivered. Fixed milestones on Upwork, released only once you've reviewed and approved each one.
- Built for handoff. Since your own developers implement it, every file is organized and labeled so they can work from it without guesswork.
Next steps
- Send over 2–3 reference sites (and logo/photo files if you have them).
- Fund Milestone 1 on Upwork — we start the concept direction right away.
- Review the home page draft, request any changes, and we finalize for handoff.
- When you're ready, we scope Phase 2 for the remaining five pages.
